We had recently checked out the kids playground in Taman Tasik Perdana (aka Lake Gardens) and boy oh boy... I think I'd go crazy if I'm still a kid! That playground is hugeeeeeeeeeee! I sort of panicked initially at the sight of it because with 3 kiddos (and thank God the 3rd one still strapped in stroller) else I don't know how am I going to be watching out all 3 kiddos when they zipped and zapped everywhere in the playground! Anyway, hubby took over the hawk-eye ala CCTV monitoring task, making sure our older 2 kiddos are within our eyesight and everything is fine and dandy while I stood nearby with our almost 6 months old girl in her stroller.
Anyway, this post is to document down our thoughts and feedback on our visit to the Taman Tasik Perdana Playground...
We reached the Taman Tasik Perdana Playground around 11am. We didn't ventured in to look for the parking, we parked at the roadside as how all the other cars there did and walked down towards the playground. There is proper signages at the place, the public playground is open from 6am to 8om everyday.
I think for a second when we were all standing at the entrance towards the playground, I could see our 5 years old boy standing there, not sure which area to 'attack' first hahahaha...
There are lots of nice themed playground setups all around. Coolness!
I mean, wouldn't you go crazy with the sights of all these? Look at that long bridge! My mummy instincts immediately scanned for the ladder/stairs up to these contraptions and whether our kiddos could get themselves up there without us going in as well. Anyway, I did go into the bridge one just because I have to satisfy the kiddo in me, you know?!
After all the playground madness, we strolled up to explore the areas around Taman Tasik Perdana. Nice walkways, nice sceneries, there's a lake, some man-made waterfalls, and this long long long long walkway with forest look-alike background.
We spent just an hour there, though it was really tiring and we were all hot and sweaty by the time we got back into our car. Would have spend longer time there but it was close to lunch time and we wanted to get back home to rest a bit as we have a movie outing few hours later in the day. To sum up our review on Taman Tasik Perdana Playground:
PLUS POINTS:
BAD POINTS:
-
Not enough shelters/shades and benches for people to sit and rest
-
Playground area is too huge, really need to be very careful if you have a number of kids to watch out for
If you plan to go there, do remember to bring caps for your kiddos, spare shirts and pants, lots of water, mosquitoes repellant, insect bites ointment (just in case), umbrella, picnic mat if you want to rest on the grass, some light snacks.
Overall, a very very nice place to visit, lots of fun playgound stuff enough to tire out your kiddos and it is free!
