Yes! My first giveaway had finally come to an end.
In case you have no idea what I'm talking about, I had previously posted a giveaway in my old Blogger blog and had mentioned that I will draw out a winner at the end of June, so here goes a bit of the info on how I selected the lucky winner!
#1 - Since I created my entry form using Google Documents, I had to of course download out the document into Excel
#2 - Firstly I make sure all the entries are accounted for. Meaning, if I said there will be 3 entries for those "Follower prior to 1st June 2010" I will ensure that there are 3 counts for the participant. In total, there are 136 entries for this giveaway.
#3 - Once I have the whole list, I have to drill down to each participant and checked the answer for the question asked, which is "What is the name of the animal used in the letter "N" OR "X" in their animal alphabet letters (choose either one)." Those who answered this question incorrectly will be disqualified from the giveaway. Those that answer correctly will stay in the list.
#4 - Once I cleared away the incorrect entries, I proceeded to Random.org and key in my minimum and maximum entry, which is 1 to 75. Yes, from a total of 136 entries, only 75 made it to the final list to be drawn. So, I clicked the "Generate" button and this is what I get:

As for the rest who participated in the giveaway, thank you for entering, better luck next time, OK? And, btw, I had previously consider showing the screen capture of the winning entry but then I decided not to as it will also show the answer for the question asked and I've seen many Artiwood Letters giveaway across a lot of blogs so I guessed it's better I keep the answer a secret to be fair to other blogs who are hosting similar giveaway like mine.
