I'm a full-time mummy

I was looking around for some nice cloth books which we can use and read to our kiddos before their bedtime now that our almost 5 years old boy has started his preK and we have started establishing our daily routine. I couldn't contain my excitement when I stumbled upon these 2 cloth books as I can immediately think how fun and educational they would be for us! I had initially intended to purchase the cloth books when the sponsor generously offered to sponsor me the books in exchange for my review.

 I will start off with the 1st book which is "My Quiet Book". This book is so colorful! It is a little over 6 inches long and 6 inches wide and opens up to about 12 inches long in reading/playing mode. I like that you can close up the book by zipping it up all around and that there is a cloth handle for you to hold and carry it around. Neat!

I like this book for its educational purposes. When I go through this book, I think of the Montessori methods where children learns everyday tasks such as tying up shoe laces, working with zips and buttons and more.

The 2nd book which I totally fall head over heels with is the "Little Bear's Lullaby and Good Night Book".

This book is just so freaking cute and awesome! It is a little over 6 inches long and 6 inches wide and opens up to about 12 inches long in reading/playing mode. I like that you can close up the book by zipping it up all around and that there is a cloth handle for you to hold and carry it around.

I like this book as it helps to guide our kiddos and ease them into a proper bedtime routine. Brushing teeth, bathing, changing into their bedtime clothes, reading a bedtime story book, praying, and then going to sleep, all this are pretty much what we incorporates into our bedtime routine.

The cool and cute thing I like about this book is that you can move some of the objects (milk, soap, pajamas etc) and help the teddy bear as it gets ready for bedtime.

You can actually take out its clothes, put it into the bath tub, bath it with the soap, put on its pajamas and so on. Way, way, way realistic and cute at the same time.

Everynight, right before we get ready to sleep, we will take this book out and our kiddos will be waiting for either hubby or myself to go through this book with them.

I normally let them in-charge of each subsequent pages, first Benjamin then Alyson and so on until we finished the whole book. Both of them will be excited to be responsible and helping teddy bear gets ready for bedtime.  This book is a must have!!!

Summary: The "Little Bear's Lullaby and Good Night Book" is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, I love it so much that I bought another one as a gift to our close friend. The "My Quiet Book" is a wonderful book as well as it  to have and I am glad to be given the opportunity to review this product and keeping it. Recommended!

I remember a few years ago when I needed so urgently for a contact of a florist, I ended up asking my ex-colleague (who is a secretary). But the ones she gave me were phone numbers to the florists, no websites or pictures of their products to look at or choose from. And I really feel not comfortable not being able to at least have a look of the products that I plan to buy.

I feel it's more thoughtful to be able to choose the flowers and if possible, customise the designs ourselves instead of just placing the order over the phone.

When I received a request to review the Potette Plus 2-in-1 Travel Potty & Trainer Seat, my heart skipped a beat! I mean, just a few months prior to that, I was actually looking around for a portable potty to get for our kiddos. Some of my blog followers did suggest this brand but at that point in time, the only place I knew that have this is Mothercare and the price is wee bit too high for me to consider.

When our 1st child started potty training, I did purchased something similar for him, it is a kiddy toilet seat cover which you can place right on top of your toilet seat but that does not work for our case as our toilet seat cover curves inward and not of flat surface. So when you placed the kiddy toilet seat cover on, it actually jiggles and moves abit. Scary and I really do not want my kiddo to fall into the toilet seat! I have since kept the kiddy toilet seat cover since it is practically useless and relied on the potty seat instead (but it is cumbersome to lug around)

My feedback on the product's packaging: The Potette Plus 2-in-1 Travel Potty & Trainer Seat comes tightly sealed in a plastic packaging. Upon Googling for product info, I found out that there are different brands partnering with the Potette - you can see it based on the company logo at the center bottom on the flyer that came together in the packaging. It also comes with some disposable liners as well.

My feedback on the product: It is fairly easy to use this product. You can either lay it flat by flipping out the sides and put on your toilet seat or you can bend the sides so that it can be a potty that your child can sit on, but for this method, do remember to put on a plastic covering to catch the pee and poo hahaha...

Being a paranoid mummy, I did the first initial check on the product by touching all over the surface, checking for any rough surface or edges, I mean, if my child is going to sit on this product, it better be smooth and comfortable to the touch! Anyway, happy to report, initial test on the product = pass!

I chose the white color one as it is easy to see the cleanliness of it. I also like that it is very easy to fold up the Potette Plus and it does not take up much space to keep away when not in use.

My feedback on kiddos using the product: Currently, our 2 years old girl is still using diapers and on some occasions will inform me when she wants to poo and we will place her on top of our toilet seat. We will have to squat or sit near her and hold her so that she does not fall off (yeah, we are that paranoid) although she does hold the front of the toilet seat to keep herself balance on the toilet seat. Picture below taken when Alyson was about 1.5 years old.

Now with Potette Plus 2-in-1 Travel Potty & Trainer Seat, I will flip the sides out flat, laying the sides horizontally and putting it on the toilet seat since that is the way our girl is using the toilet seat currently.

It is safe and I'm happy to know that our girl can comfortably sit on it and does her business hahahaha... So comfortable that she started bringing her storybook and read it while she does her business!
