Product Review - Anywayup

I always have the weirdest and luckiest luck ever! Or maybe the Twitter fairy is being kind to me... Anyway, I stumbled upon this tweet message looking for bloggers to review their products and I replied them asking whether they are OK with international bloggers, and my oh my, they are happy to provide me a product of my choice from their website for my review! So here goes my review for the "Anywayup 360° Toddler cup & Anywayup 360° Junior cup ":

Description from the product page:
"The Anywayup cup was the world's first and best totally non-spill cup. Invented by mum and entrepreneur, Mandy Haberman, this award-winning iconic product will be re-launched soon by Haberman Products. "

I am so thrilled to be given 2 products for my review: Anywayup 360° Toddler cup for Alyson and Anywayup 360° Junior cup for Benjamin. The cups came in eco-friendly packaging which is easy to open and has a real tiny pamphlet inside the cup with the product's description and instructions.

Pictures below are the Anywayup 360° Junior cup for my 45 months old boy, Benjamin. I asked for the red colored cup as my 3.5 years old boy loves red color things. I've also took apart everything in this cup so you can see how it works. It has an innovative circular valve system which with gentle sipping allows toddlers to drink from anywhere around the rim.

Anywayup

My boy currently drinks from his straw cup, he can also drink straight from a cup (though I still get butterflies in my tummy everytime I see him holding and hovering the cup over to his mouth - quite paranoid of spills, really!) The cool thing with this cup is it allows my boy the independence to drink from a cup (without handles!) and yet give me the assurance there will be NO spills at all! The rubberised layer at the rim actually prevents spillage and there's this rubber layer at the base of the cup which holds the cup pretty well and prevents it from sliding away. I love it!

To be honest, I think my boy expected the moment he tilt the cup, the water will flow straight to his mouth (like how water in a cup works) so it took a while for him to get used to drinking from this cup as he needs to learn to sip through the rim in order for the water to go into his mouth. But once he got the idea and concept, he drinks water so fast that I have to top it up in a minute!

Anywayup

Pictures below are the Anywayup 360° Toddler cup for my 15 months old girl, Alyson. I asked for the red colored cup as well as I don't want my kiddos to be fighting over different colors so might as well get the same color for them hahaha... I've also took apart everything in this cup so you can see how it works. It has the same innovative circular valve system which with gentle sipping allows toddlers to drink from anywhere around the rim, the only difference I can see is this cup has 2 rubberised handles at the side.

My girl currently drinks from her straw sippy cup. The cool thing with this cup is it allows my girl to transition to a cup (with handles for now!) and yet give me the assurance there will be NO spills at all! Like her brother's cup, the rubberised layer at the rim actually prevents spillage and there's this rubber layer at the base of the cup which holds the cup pretty well and prevents it from sliding away. Love love love this!

Anywayup

Unlike her brother, it doesn't take long at all for my girl to get used to drinking from this cup, maybe because she is still breastfeeding and still knows how to suckle properly to get water (breastmilk from me). One thing she is still getting used to is to hold the handles properly as she likes to hold the cup itself like her brother.

Anywayup

One thing I would like to highlight is the few occasions where my daughter drops her cup from her playpen (about 3 feet from floor) and there are some water spillage (more like water droplets) as the impact of the fall from the height causes some vibrations to the rubberised rim on the cup and hence spilling some water from the cup. But otherwise, with proper handling of the cup during drinking, totally no spills at all, even when my kiddos turned the cup upside down.

Very good products which I totally recommend!

BTW, I'm mostly surfing on phone and it's irritating when I was constantly referred to advertisement while scrolling your website. The ads just appear anywhere in the screen! Upon reading this post I've be directed  to other page for at least 8 times. @@

Wow! We totally have problems with milk spillage at our home.  I have one of those "GYRO BOWL Spill Resistant Kids Gyroscopic Bowl with Lid" and it works great for food. This product seems the same idea with a cup. I wish I could give my toddler regular cups but he throws them and takes them everywhere never remembering to keep them upright.  I wonder if this may be our solution. I heard or read somewhere using the playtex sippy cups with the plastic insert impedes toddlers from learning to drink from a real cup but we have no problem switching.  Is it dish washable?
Thanks for the review!!

This is a really cool product. I'm not a mom so I would have no use for it but I have a feeling my sister would really like something like this. Is it dishwasher safe?

KIMBERLY DAVIS

Very nice cups. Thanks!

Marissa

I used to drink out of these kinds of cups when I was a little kid. I would definitely get my kid one when I have a kid someday.

Theresa

I need to know where to buy this AnywayUp cup!  Especially if it works as good as you say.  My kids are all grown. But, I have 3 grandkids  and all the different kind of "spill-proof" cups I bought for them, always manage to leak, drip, spill and  even explode in their hands!  Would love one to actually work.
