My 3 years old boy loves to watch Spiderman. When I see the word 'Spider' in this app, I told myself I must review it no matter what it is about! As long as there is spider in it, count me in! So, here is my review...

Description from the product page:
"Life really is quite different for a spider. And your Daddy is just the person to help you explore just why this is. Who would have thought you could get quite so tangled up finding out why. Designed for children of all ages... from 3 to... as old as it's possible to be!"
What's good?
* It is engaging and certain parts of the pages are interactive and I love the cute animation that is shown when we touch certain parts of the screen!
* I used the opportunity in this app to teach my 3 years old boy the anatomy of a spider, how they move, the purpose of the web and so on.
* I can see my boy enjoying and laughing at the sight of daddy's alternative methods to try to be a spider - from pretending to have 8 legs to walking on the ceiling and so on.
* Of course being a mum, I enjoyed the page where mummy shows up at the end to save the day!
Room for Improvement?
* I googled around and found out that most spiders has 6 or 8 eyes, well, I've always learned that spiders have 8 eyes so I think it will be better if the spider in this story has 8 eyes as well so that our little ones learned the correct information.
* I would prefer if the daddy character in this book be changed to a brother (sibling). I can't help but feel that the daddy in this app is being too silly and useless (sorry if I seem harsh for saying this!). To be honest, I would not want my husband to be hiding with my child as well at the sight of a spider and I want my child to look up to his daddy for a source of protection and not the other way round!
