Don't Count The Number of Friends You Have...

Came across this inspiring quote about friends...

Now, if you can see my personal Facebook page, you will see that I have 400+ friends. I'm not saying those are not friends, just that they are ex-colleagues, relatives, high school friends, primary school friends, college friends, SAHM friends, bloggy friends and so on.

Anyway, if I really have to count the number of friends I can count on (excluding God and my husband) in times of trouble, sadness and need to grumble, I'd have to say TWO.

One is my bestie since high school. We could talk about our high school life, working life, family life and just plain grumble about anything.

One is a SAHM bloggy friend (we finally met up during the recent Chinese New Year after months chatting on MSN hahahah) We could talk about SAHM life, family life and life with kids and again, just plain grumble about anything!

With these 2 bestie of mine, we can just drop the conversation suddenly and continue with our busy life and then resume our chat few days later or the next time we got around to chatting.

These 2 bestie of mine understand and never critisize what I do or the decision I make or the feelings I'm having. Heck, they supported and even helped release my tensions as well.

So, this post is to be dedicated to my two bestie. Thanks for being there and for the times you listen to my grumbles and complains and accomplishments. When I need to vent out, when I need to brag and so on.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

May God continue to bless you both in everything you do.

How lovely!! Those types of friends are the best, aren't they??! Just wish I lived closer to my best friend.

Hey Aurie!
My 2 besties stay far from me too.. Thank god for modern technology! With emails, SMSes and MSN at least we could keep in touch!

Definitely the quality not the quantity, the reason they are such besties is because time and distance don't matter Smile

I must agree... good firend tat can rely on is truely hard to find especially like us sit at home...we dont hv time to "keep track" the things happening with everybody. Therefore only true friend will understand and can drop in and out the event happening arnd/with us. I'm truly blessed with a friend tt encourage me tru out my pregnancy,bf issues, families n all nonsense and she's also the same person whom i break our pregnancy surprises of our 2nd child. God had bring us together unexpectly and i also dunno y i told her im pregnant .. wasnt tt close back then... now she's my MENTOR! Haha... i als wanadedicated this to her, she can always count on me and i'll be counting  her wrinkle till we grow old!

That's very nice of you to dedicate to your two best friends. I'm also like you, I have a bestie from high school and we stay far apart from each other too. But thanks to modern technology we can communicate nearly everyday..Smile
