Description from the product page:
"Are you satisfied with your lifestyle? Can you achieve and maintain your God-given destiny? Is it possible to receive prosperity from God’s perspective? You may be thinking; how do I take my life to the next level? Prosperity in God’s kingdom includes; peace, wealth, health, honor, faith, favor, love, and more. There is no limit to the measure of prosperity that you can encounter in life. The more knowledge you have about God, coupled with wisdom, the more prosperity you will receive. Understanding and performing the steps outlined in this book (Taking Your Life to The Next Level), will help you accomplish this."

I'm a full-time mummyI can't help but to agree with the statement on page 3 that "This book will help you understand destiny from God’s perspective and the do’s and don’ts in order to walk in it."

One of my regular prayers I prayed for my children before I sleep is for my children to grow up to be a God-fearing and God-loving child, one that walks according His ways and be an example of how a Christian should be. I do want to see that in my children as I am partly responsible (besides my husband who works hard for our family) in raising them up and would definitely want them to live their destiny according to God's way.

I do agree with the author on his statement in page 3 as well "God will not give you a destiny which will make you struggle and miserable." as one of my pastors used to tell us 'God's will, God's bill', if He can bring you TO it, He will surely bring you THROUGH it.

I also love the example given by the author on how we touch God's heart when we thanked Him. I too agree that we should be thankful regardless of the good or bad things that happened in our life. I started a few weeks ago to teach my boy to give thanks to God before we sleep and there are few times when my almost 4 years old boy reminded me that we should pray and say thank you God. I taught him to say his thanks for what happened that day, to tell God whether we are sick or have any pains and to pray to God for His protections over us.

In summary, this is a wonderful book that reinforces my beliefs in how we should live our life according to His ways.

iPad App Review - Hunches in Bunches

~ Posted on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 8:10 AM ~

We have a couple of Dr. Seuss apps on my iPad and the latest one that we reviewed is the "Oh, the Pets You Can Get!" app. So when I received an email pitch on this app, I immediately requested to review it. Without further ado, here goes my feedback...

* Title: Hunches in Bunches
* Price: $3.99
* Category: Books
* Released: Feb 13, 2013
* Version: 2.1
* Size: 35.0 MB
* Language: English
* Seller: Oceanhouse Media, Inc.
* Rated: 4+
* Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Requires iOS 5.0 or later.

Description from the product page:

"After much arguing and "barg-uing" and shoving and yelling, a decision is made and our hero follows a Munch Hunch to lunch. The nonsense and cleverly crafted message in Hunches in Bunches is right up to par with Dr. Seuss's many other classic picture books. It's easy to become overwhelmed by advice when you have a mind--but can't make it up. Sometimes the best plan is to trust your own hunches, and disregard the vocal bunch of Hunches clamoring for attention. This makes a great gift for well-meaning flakes and ditherers of all ages."

* It is engaging and interactive and I love that we can also touch the objects in each page on the screen and the words pop out to tell you what it is!

* I like the storyline where it tells how we can sometimes be too overwhelmed with making a decision and to best trust our own instincts (hunch) instead.

* There is a particular page which I feel is important to stress to my almost 4 years old boy - that the only person who can decide in the end is himself. Of course, being at a young age now it is better if us parents do the decision making but we try to give 2 options to our boy which he can choose for himself so he can ultimately still makes the decision and yet abiding to our requirements hehehehe...

* This is just my personal opinion, I'm somewhat not comfortable at the sight of the hunches with hands on their heads.... looks creepy to me :P

iPad App Review - Just Shopping with Mom

~ Posted on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 7:08 AM ~

I mentioned before that we are big fans of "Little Critter" apps and the last app we reviewed are the "Little Critter Collection #1", "Just a Mess", "Just Go to Bed" and "Just Going to the Dentist". So the moment I saw the words "Little Critter" in the latest Oceanhouse Media's press release in my email inbox, I remembered blogging about stepping out of my comfort zone early this year. Anyway, my review as below...

The next stop is the mall to find a dress for his little sister. Finally, Little Critter's patience pays off when mom finds a fun way to end the day!"

* It is engaging and interactive and I love that we can also touch the objects in each page on the screen and the words pop out to tell you what it is!

* I like the storyline where it tells how Little Critter go for a shopping trip with his mummy and little sister and the events that unfolded during the trip.

* I used the opportunity in this story app to teach my almost 4 years old boy that we need to be patient if we want something, to always behave, to stay close to mummy when he is out and to help look after and protect his little sister as well.
