Volcano Vibes

Just a little experiment I tried with my 3 year old last week.

It does not look like a volcano exploding or anything, more like bubbles popping up!

It was fun while it lasted!

(though I think my MIL is getting worried with her vinegar supply running out fast hahahah!)

Again... Why You Should Not Force Your Son To Take Picture With You...

Last year, I posted a picture of me ehem.. trying to have a lovey-dovey caring mummy picture with my boy and this is what I get:

The lesson is I should not force my toddler to take picture with me!

And now, with 2 kids, I'm doing it again... In case you don't know, I've got a new handphone (it was a birthday gift from hubby since my previous handphone was 4 years old already) and I like using it to take pictures nowadays. So, one day I thought, hey, I should take pictures of me and my 2 kids and show to my blog readers how cute and happy we are huh?

WRONG....!

My toddler strikes again with his nose digging pose! Arghhhh!! Look at my curious little girl looking at her big brother!

So I tried again, telling him to behave and just let mummy have ONEEEEEEEEE pretty picture of us pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

And nope... not happening... but at least he's smiling huh? He seems to be enjoying it! ARghhhh!!

So I said 'Ben, come on, one last shot please! Ready?'

Still no... and my girl is getting really really curious at her big brother already!

Argh... this is the best shot I can get... I mean, I never learned huh?

So, does it mean, when my girl is older a bit, I'm gonna get 2 kids digging nose in the picture with me?!

A Life Cut Short...

~ Posted on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 7:38 AM ~

Last week, my cousin's daughter passed away. She was their first child and was just 3 months old.

I didn't know the exact details of the cause of death, I was told by another cousin that the baby was found not breathing by her nanny on Monday morning and her parents rushed over to pick her up from the nanny's place and then rushed to the hospital. The doctors managed to resuscitate her but she's practically brain dead even though the heart beat was there. She passed away 2 days later.

Just like that, a life cut short...

You know, sometimes when you feel frustrated with your kids:

- think about the parents who lost their child like this

- think about the parents who suffered miscarriages or had stillborn and never get to see their or touch their baby at all

- think about the couples who cannot even get pregnant and never get to experience being pregnant and feel the growing belly bump and being kicked by their baby

Think about that and start appreciating your children...
