The Joy of LOVE - The Eyes

~ Posted on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:43 PM ~

Today's prompt is: "Today I want you to take a crisp photo of your loved ones eyes. The eyes are the window to the soul, to try to truly capture your loved one's eyes today. "

Oh boy... I just love today's prompt! That's because I personally think Ben's eyes are one of his best features! (Cos' lots of people say he got those big eyes from ehem... me... heheheh...) So here's my submission for the day:

The Joy of LOVE - The Eyes
Cheeky eyes...
The Joy of LOVE - The Eyes
Crybaby eyes...
The Joy of LOVE - The Eyes
Curious eyes...
The Joy of LOVE - The Eyes
Cheerful eyes...

Read: Matthew 6:22 (NIV) ~ “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light."

Hide and Seek

I was checking my emails and Ben was playing by himself and after a few seconds, I realised the room was quiet. Really quiet. I turned around, still sitting on my chair and looked out for Ben. He's nowhere to be found in the room at one glance. Our bedroom and bathroom doors are closed and I'm not worried with Ben going out as he has yet to master the door opening skill..

So where is he??

Then I looked at our spare bed on the floor and realised the spare mini mattress (Ben used it when he was like 2 months old) is a bit neat. TOO NEAT. Something's not right with it. I grabbed my camera, and waited...

I waited a while more and suddenly, this cheeky face appeared!

He has been hiding under the mattress hoping I won't find him!

When he realised he's been found, he tried to hide himself again.

And realised he can't repeat the same trick now that mummy knows it.

So he rolled on to his sides and proceed to play other stuff...

Cheeky fella...

So what about you? Have you encountered funny and cute situations like this?

Where did your child hid him/herself?

Just can't resist posting up this picture. Picture on the left is me about 3 years old, sitting on a neighbour's bike and chewing some sweets while picture on the right is of Ben taken few days ago, riding on his grand uncle's bike.

Mum and son biker team? Hehehehe...
