I'm a full-time mummy

This is my 2nd VeggieTales DVD review after "God Loves You Very Much" and to be honest, I am starting to like VeggieTales after seeing how my toddler fell in love with it. I even bought one of the older released DVD ("Heroes of The Bible Lions, Shepherds and Queens") Anyway, here is my review:

Look at the picture above of Ben watching the DVD intensely! This DVD is packed with over 20 Silly Songs and some of my our favorites are:

* I Love My Lips (My boy particularly enjoys and always cracked up laughing the part where Larry sings real fast)
* Belly Button (Our favorite, a song with a unique tune and my boy is slowly memorising this song!)
* Lance the Turtle (Arghh... this is one song with a catchy tune! It's been playing on my head over and over and over again!)
* Gated Community (I laughed when I saw the song title, but nonetheless a very nice song too!)
* Pizza Angel (Oh boy, this is another catchy-stuck-in-my-head song!)

This is my first Dr. Seuss app review. I have always wondered what is so special with Dr. Seuss's books as I've seen it being recommended by some other mummy bloggers, so when there is an opportunity to review one of his apps, I immediately jumped at the chance! Anyway, my review as below...

What's good?

* It is engaging and interactive and I love that we can also touch the objects in each page on the screen and the words pop out to tell you what it is!

* I like that I can teach Ben in a more creative and humourous ways about foot!

* I like the way foot is being taught in this app: rhymes, opposites, sizes, and more! Love it!

As I read the above quote, I was reminded of the time back when I was still in the workforce, being so passionate with what I'm doing, working hard and giving my best in whatever tasks assigned to me.

In my opinion, an employee wants to feel appreciated and have a sense of belonging in order to be motivated and work harder in a company.

I still remember back when I was working in a multinational bank in 2007, that was the first time I learned that the bank I worked for carries out a lot of approaches in order to be engaged with its employees. The purpose of doing so is to get the employees' feedback so that the company can try their best to accommodate and satisfy its employees. One of the approaches carried out by the bank is the Employee Survey scheme which was done annually.

Each and every employee of the bank will be given a time off to fill up their feedback anonymously in the survey form and these feedback will be compiled and processed by the Human Resource Department and recommendations will then be suggested and implemented by the bank if they realised it is for the good of all parties.

I feel that it is good for a company to do so as not only they get to have its employees' feedback of the company and their satisfaction or dissatisfaction of their workplace and/or workload, the employees also feel appreciated and happy that their employer cares for them and wants to make their workplace a better and happy environment to work in.
