My DIY Tips In Recycling Rubber Bands From Rainbow Looms

~ Posted on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 5:13 AM ~

I am not a fan of rainbow looms. We received some last year from our 1st kiddo's kindy friends as party packs. I kept them aside until I could decide what to do with them. FYI, rainbow Loom is a plastic tool used to weave colorful rubber and plastic bands into bracelets and charms. End of last year, I finally got an idea what to do with the colorful rubber bands. I threw away the plastic tools but kept the rubber bands and recycle them.

With 2 young girls in our family, I used the rubber bands to tie their slowly but surely growing hair. They look so cute in tiny little pigtails and braids. And with so many colors to choose from, I won't ever run out of ideas how to mix and match the rubber bands with our girls' clothings. The bands are sturdy and strong and quite lasting with gentle use.

What a great way to recyle the bands instead of buying them from those beauty outlets at a much much more expensive rates! I'm glad I kept the rubber bands and recycling them this way.

Product Review - MilkyBites Cookies

~ Posted on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 5:51 AM ~

I have been cutting down on doing product reviews since 2014 and only accepted those that I feel will definitely fit into our family dynamics (especially books on parenting or homeschooling stuff, family products, something along those genre)

Few months ago, I received an offer to review some lactation cookies. Since I am still nursing our 2.5 years old girl on demand, I thought why not?

I received the following pack of MilkyBites cookies for my review. There are a mixture of flavors inside the pack that I'm reviewing : brownie dates, oatmeal ginger and chocolate peanut butter. The cookies came in a paper sealed pack which is convenient to carry around and the resealable pack makes the cookies last longer if you are the type of people who enjoy savoring your food slowly :D

MilkyBites Cookies

The cookies' sizes are about the palm of your hand, not too small that you can't feel anything after eating, just right size. In fact, I've tried once just eating a couple of these cookies for my breakfast and it is quite filling!

As a person who loves chocolate, of course I particularly enjoyed the chocolate peanut butter flavor.Even my kiddos enjoy stealing these cookies from me! Grrrrr...

MilkyBites Cookies

The brownie dates flavor is not bad either. You can taste the dates and these cookies are not too sweet.

MilkyBites Cookies

I can't say I enjoy the oatmeal ginger flavor as I'm not a fan of gingery stuff. I feel the ginger is a tad too strong for me.

I think these cookies are a great choice for busy mums (nursing or not they are very yummy cookies) as you can carry it around and just pop some into your mouth if you are feeling hungry or just need to munch of something nutritious!

Overall, good stuff! If you are a nursing mother, you might want to consider these yummylicious cookies!

Sponsored Video: Boboiboy The Movie Junior Meal with OLDTOWN White Coffee

~ Posted on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at 12:57 AM ~

I just watched the video of Boboiboy The Movie Junior Meal with OLDTOWN White Coffee and find it very interesting!

Our kiddos watches Boboiboy's series on TV and can relate to the character from the series. Now as a parent of 3 kiddos, I am wary of the outside food so of course I watched and rewatched the video over and over again, trying to check out what are the dishes being offered in this Junior Meal by Oldtown White Coffee.

The Junior Meals options that you can choose from are macaroni with tomato paste, dry egg noodles and BBQ chicken rice and each meal comes with side dishes of veggies, Ribena Fizzy and a limited set of Boboiboy The Movie watch! Not bad!
