Guest Post - Protecting & Financing My Family

~ Posted on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 12:01 AM ~

Protecting my family is my top priority. I wouldn’t know what to do straight away if something bad were to happen to any of us, but I know that I can’t just leave things as they are, especially if one of my kids became injured. I’ll do anything for them, and if they’re wronged in anyway, I will fight their corner for as long as is necessary. If they were injured because of someone else, I would rightly feel angry, but would want to get some form of justice.

If, for example, one of my children was to become injured while on a field trip with their school, I would be livid, because they should guarantee their safety at all times. Should one of my kids break a leg or arm because of someone else’s negligence, there’s a chance that I would have to look after them, taking time off work in the process. Then, I would stand to lose income, meaning that paying for food and electricity would become more difficult. Thankfully, with help from First4lawyers, I can make a compensation claim which not only means getting justice, but also having the means to pay for everything else.

Making injury claims for compensation is something that any mother would do if they wanted to protect their kids from suffering while recovering from injury. A successful claim will help to reimburse any lost income and costs like medical bills, and can make recovery a little less stressful, and you can’t really put a price on that.

Buying Our Car From A Car Dealership...

~ Posted on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 2:40 PM ~

We bought our second car last year from a car dealership shop. Our (hubby's) first car was already more than 15 years old (hubby bought it second hand when the car was 10 years old!) and it was definitely time to get another car. This car was passed down to me as I don't really use it often anyway, more like to go buy foods at the nearby shoplots in our housing area.

Anyway, we have been looking for a bigger car which can fit our growing family and at the same time, want it to have safety features and cost savings too. Hubby's first car does not have any airbag features at all, so yes, it is very risky to continue driving that car for him in the long run.

We finally found our second car at a car dealership shop after recommendation by our brother in law.

Although the car dealership shop we went to does not have a car-finder services, parts and services department and trade in services like the one offered in the car dealerships in greenville sc, it was nevertheless a new experience for us to see so many different types of cars available for sale and we also get to try and drive the car to test it out with our family to have a feel of using the car with the family as well.

Where do you buy your car?

Have You Heard of Bacterial Vaginosis?

~ Posted on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 4:19 PM ~

Oh wow... I learned something new today!

Bacterial Vaginosis.

The term bacterial vaginosis actually means an infection caused by an imbalance pH levels in our vagina. Yup, down there. I know, I know, when it comes to topics like this, most often we Asian women goes 'hush, hush' and sheepishly change the topic or remains quiet... but really, we should find out more on this and be equipped with the knowledge so that we don't end up getting it.

I mean, look at the image below. Up until I write this post, I have no idea what this is all about! And after reading about it and find out more on the symptoms, causes and what can be done to prevent it, I just have to share this information out to all my sisters out there!

As I was reading through the symptoms of this infection, I remembered these are the few things that I was told to look out for when I was pregnant. Unpleasant ‘fishy’ odour, abnormal discharge and discomfort down there, all these are the symptoms to be on the look out for. And I was surprised too when I read that this infection is not caused by poor hygiene. I mean, the first thing that came to my mind was 'must be not clean enough that's why causes all this infection!'. You should really read up on this infection to know more, don't just trust my words in this post.

In summary, this is an easy to prevent infection if only we know about it and prepared ourselves against it. So please for the sake of your health, read up on this!
