Baby Room Review - IPC Mutiara Damansara

~ Posted on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 7:41 AM ~

I hope you enjoy reading my baby room review as much as I enjoy sneaking in my camera along with my baby and sheepishly taking pictures during the nursing session hehehehe.... I have previously blogged about the baby room in IPC in June 2012 and we were there a while ago and I noticed the room has been revamped and it looks nice, I told myself I gotta blog about it!

MY FEEDBACK

Location: There is proper signage that will lead you to the baby room in 2nd floor. There's a sign outside telling you that there is also another baby room in the 1st floor.

Facilities: Dustbin, mirror, sink, handwash liquid, paper towel dispenser right next to the sink, an anti-slip mat in front of the sink, a diaper changing station, 2 comfy sofas and a table next to the sofas. I love the new wallpaper designs too!

There is also a magazines rack right next to the door, I didn't check out the magazines though. There are 2 power outlets next to the baby diaper changing station.

I checked back my previous review on the same room and noticed they used to have a curtain around one of the sofa to cordon it off for breastfeeding mums instead of the 2 sofas now right next to each other and no more curtain in the baby room. I wished they put back the curtain as there are some nursing mothers who prefer to stil have some privacy when nursing as I've seen men in the baby room accompanying their wife when changing their baby's diaper so with a curtain in the room, at least everybody can still continue doing their tasks and not feeling like intruding or anything. Just my 2 cents...

Comfort Level: The room size is just nice, cosy, though I feel the room is abit too cold (hence the picture below of me covering up our 4 months old Carolyn), nice setting and comfortably lit.

Baby Room Review - The School Jaya One

~ Posted on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 8:14 AM ~

I hope you enjoy reading my baby room review as much as I enjoy sneaking in my camera along with my baby and sheepishly taking pictures during the nursing session hehehehe.... Today's post is in this newly opened mall called 'The School' in Jaya One, Petaling Jaya. There's nothing much to see when we went there, some educational shops here and there, lots of nice and cute alphabets decoration (F for Fly, U for UFO, N for ninja) that I took the opportunity to test our 5 years old boy.

Anyway, as a breastfeeding mother of 3, my hubby happily told me there's a nursing room nearby after he got back from bringing our boy to the toilet. So I went to check out the nursing room since I was due to nurse our 5 months old Carolyn anyway hehehe...

MY FEEDBACK

Location: I apologised as I did not take note which floor was the nursing room located at, but it was near the big shop selling lots and lots of bicycles, trikes, strollers, toys etc. Signage pointing to the nursing room is easy to locate. From far you will notice the automatic sliding door into the baby room.

Once you stepped into the baby room, on the left hand side you will see a small toilet for children, good for those in potty training stage. Next to it is the nursing room, there's a door which you can close and lock (though the lock was not working when I was using the room). There's a few platform for diaper changing statio and a sink next to them.

Facilities: Dustbin, mirror, sink, handwash liquid, paper towel dispenser right next to the sink, electrical outlets, some diaper changing station, 1 comfy sofa and some more electrical outlets in the nursing room.

Comfort Level: The room is comfortably lit and cosy (picture above of me nursing our 5 months old Carolyn), room size is just nice  though I feel it can do with another sofa to make full use of the room space. Probably add in some nice wall paper deco or some magazines for the nursing mums to read or browse through? Just some suggestions...

Oh, and one more thing, while I was nursing, I noticed a loose screw at the corner near the door and some cracks on the wall near the floor, looks moldy from where I sat. The nursing room could do with a little bit more improvements, otherwise it is comfortable enough for a nursing mum.

Baby Room Review - Parkson, 1 Utama

~ Posted on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 7:42 AM ~

I hope you enjoy reading my baby room review as much as I enjoy sneaking in my camera along with my baby and sheepishly taking pictures during the nursing session hehehehe....

MY FEEDBACK

Location: There is proper signage that will lead you to the baby room (the baby room I went to was located in the children's department - sorry, forgot which floor)

Facilities: There are a few nursing cubicles, each has a curtain to open and close from both outside and inside for some privacy though there is a hook inside you can sort of 'lock' the curtain to disallow people from pulling it open, dustbin, comfy sofa, a sink with mirror, baby diaper changing station and there is a comfy sofa outside the nursing cubicles as well. I didn't pay attention to the power outlet as being a breastfeeding mum who nursed directly, I never bother to look for all these power outlets :P

Comfort Level: The cubicle is OK, I am quite nervous with the curtain closing up the room I'm although I can hook it to stop people from outside from accidentally pulling open the curtain. The cubicle is spacious enough for me and 2 kiddos :)
